Designated Hitters rigged with beaver type baits and rage craws are good flipping at the edge of grass or flooded weeds in 1-3 feet and out to 5 feet on big wood. Small bait fish patterns are working well. The crappie are moving shallow, small clouser minnows are producing well. Large bream have moved shallow, wooly buggers are producing good fish. Lake Fork crappie fishing has been super up and down just like the weather has been. Some days there are fish up shallow in less than 5 feet of water and the next day they are gone. It has been the same with fish in timber, bridges and brush piles. When you do find the fish it has been a good bite and some days we load the boat. We have fish in every stage of the spawn still.
