    You are welcome to attend one of our monthly meetings, which are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm. The club currently meets at the Elks Lodge in Irving, at 2015 N. Britain Road, Irving, TX 75061. The Elks Lodge also serves dinner for a nominal fee; call them at 972-579-0005 to see what's on the menu. Grand Prize for end-of-meeting drawings the rest of the year will feature either $50 or a good reel, so be there or be square!

    Fishing Report from TPWD (Sep. 10)

    GOOD. Water cloudy to clear; 85-90 degrees; 0.91 feet below pool. Early and late bass topwater bite around grasslines and isolated cover on main lake and secondary points. Try frog and mouse patterns for topwater. Bass are beginning to school, a hard-bodied popper should work well. Bream are shallow, try small hoppers.
