Corry's Waterfront Lake Fork Retreat is a cozy, clean homebase for your fishing adventures on Lake Fork.

Known all over the world for its excellent fishing, 60% of Texas's 50 largest bass have been pulled from the 27,000 acres of water right outside the home, with the largemouth bass state record set in 1992 at 18.18 lbs! Many catfish between 10 - 20 lbs have been caught here, as well as white & black crappie, sunfish, bluegill and panfish.

Conveniently located just a short stroll from the lake and less than five minutes from the boat ramp, you'll feel safe parking your boat for the night at our private dock with lights and electrical hookups.

Just minutes from Yantis and Emory, you'll enjoy the privacy and seclusion of the 3.5 acre lighted park directly behind the home, while also being close to the amenities of town.

Cozy carpet and comfortable furniture make for a pleasant atmosphere to watch the game on the flatscreen, and the shaded outdoor seating area is a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning as wildlife strolls by. (Turkey, deer, squirrels, raccoons, and opossums make regular appearances!)

The house comes equipped with a fully-complemented kitchen, including:
- Dishwasher
- Stove
- Oven
- Microwave
- Blender
- Dining table with room for six

The master bedroom features a comfy king-size bed with plush linens, a dresser, and nightstands, while the second bedroom contains a new queen bed and 2 new twin-size beds, making it an easy setup for families.

The bathroom features a full-size shower and plenty of counter space for toiletries.

Outdoors, you'll find:
- Covered patio with seating & tables
- Covered lean-to for parking your boat or car
- BBQ grill
- Fire pit (wood provided) with porch swings
- Outdoor games
- Tall, shady oak & hickory trees
- Lots of wildlife

The home is perfect for bird lovers, as hummingbirds, ivory-billed woodpeckers (once thought extinct), cardinals, bluebirds, finches, doves, and even bald eagles soar overhead.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Jan. 29)

GOOD. Water Stained; 43 degrees; 1.75 feet below pool. Bass are fair suspending jerk baits, spinner baits, and square bill crankbaits around creek channels in 5-10 feet. Offshore bass bite is fair with Alabama rigs, spoons and dropshots in 17-22 feet. Report by Marc Mitchell, Lake Fork Guide Service. Lake Fork crappie fishing has been as up and down as the weather and wind. With surface temperatures in the low 40s some crappie seem to be in shock. If you can get a day with light winds it seems the bite is a little better. If the winds are howling you may want to get some work done around the house or work on tackling that day. Downsizing baits and lines are helping to get a few more bites. Small minnows, small hand ties and small soft plastics are the key until we see the bite pick back up. Hold those baits super still just above crappie and they will either bite or swim off. If they swim off it’s time to find fish that will bite. Don’t spend too much time on one set of fish once the active bitters are caught. We are seeing huge numbers of fish as we cover water. Timber and brush in 20-62ft are holding fish in the mid lake and south areas. Report by Jacky Wiggins, Jacky Wiggins Guide Service.
